Quick answer
Enigma2 Linux receivers such as Vu+, Dreambox, Zgemma and Octagon can load IPTV as bouquets. This is an advanced setup — our support team can help you through it.
Before you start
- An active Kemo IPTV trial or subscription (your activation email contains your login details).
- A stable internet connection — about 10 Mbps for HD, 25 Mbps or more for 4K, per stream.
- An Enigma2 receiver on a current image (e.g. OpenATV or OpenPLi).
- A computer on the same network if you plan to transfer files.
Which login method to use
- M3U playlist URL: A single web address that points to the full channel playlist. Most players, including VLC and Kodi, can open it.
- Xtream Codes API: You enter a server URL, username and password in the player. The app downloads channels, VOD and the TV guide automatically.
Recommended approach
- Update your image to a current release and install an IPTV plugin from your image's official plugin feed (for example, an Xtream/M3U bouquet maker plugin available for your image).
- Open the plugin and add your Kemo IPTV details (Xtream server URL, username and password, or your M3U link).
- Generate bouquets and restart the GUI (Menu → Standby/Restart → Restart GUI).
- Assign the EPG source in the plugin settings if offered.
TV guide (EPG) setup
Depends on the plugin; many map EPG automatically from the Xtream source.
Common errors and fixes
| Problem | What to do |
|---|---|
| Bouquets empty after reboot | Re-run the plugin's update and confirm the receiver's date/time is correct. |
