Quick answer
TiviMate is a TV-first IPTV player with a cable-style programme guide. It is one of the most popular choices for Android TV boxes and Fire TV devices.
| Platforms | Android TV, Google TV, Fire TV, NVIDIA Shield |
|---|---|
| Login methods | Xtream Codes API, M3U playlist URL |
| Cost | Free app; some features (for example multiple playlists and recording) need TiviMate Premium, sold by its developer. |
| Best for | Big-screen Android TV and Fire TV setups where a full TV guide matters. |
Step-by-step setup
- Install TiviMate from Google Play on Android TV / Google TV. On Fire TV, check the Amazon Appstore first; if it is not listed in your region, only install it from the developer's official website.
- Open TiviMate and choose Add playlist.
- Select Xtream Codes, then enter the server URL, username and password from your activation email. (Or choose Enter URL and paste your M3U link.)
- Name the playlist (for example “Kemo”) and confirm. TiviMate loads channel groups and the TV guide.
- Open Settings → Playlists to hide channel groups you don't need — this makes the guide faster.
TV guide (EPG)
With Xtream login the guide loads automatically. With M3U, add the EPG link from your activation email under Settings → EPG → Add EPG source.
Tips
- If channels load but the guide is empty, update the EPG under Settings → EPG → Update EPG.
- One TiviMate playlist uses one connection while you're watching.
TiviMate is developed independently and isn't affiliated with Kemo IPTV. Install it only from an official app store or the developer's own website.
